Facility Mapping Services for Construction & Facility Management

Knowing exactly what runs beneath your property is essential for planning new construction, renovations, expansions and day-to-day facility operations. Venegroup ENG provides facility mapping services across Florida, locating and documenting underground utilities and subsurface infrastructure so engineers, contractors and facility managers have an accurate picture of the site before work begins.

Utility location & field marking

Our technicians use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) to detect water, sewer, gas, electric, telecom and fiber lines, as well as underground storage tanks and other subsurface features. Every located utility is marked on site using standard APWA color codes.

Mapping & documentation

We record the position of each located utility and provide field notes and site sketches your team can use for design, permitting and coordination. The result is a clear reference of what’s underground that can be shared with engineers, contractors and property owners.

Why facility mapping matters

Many properties have little or no accurate record of their private underground utilities. Lines added over the years, abandoned services and undocumented repairs create risk every time someone digs. Facility mapping helps prevent costly utility strikes, design conflicts and project delays, and gives facility managers a reliable record for future maintenance and expansions.
